 Arizona Cybersecurity Workforce Collaborative ​and ​AZCyberTalent.com

The Arizona Cybersecurity Workforce Collaborative is a collaborative of employers looking to address the growing workforce shortage for cybersecurity positions. Led by the Greater Phoenix Chamber Foundation in collaboration with the Arizona Technology Council, these employers are focused on increasing awareness of Arizona’s cybersecurity ecosystem, aligning educational outcomes with employer needs and increasing workplace experiences for job seekers.
 
A robust action plan has been developed around 4 key areas:
  • A collaborative marketing and communications strategy promoting cybersecurity careers in Arizona, including the launch of AZCyberTalent.com
  • Aligning education and training programs with employer demands, including a comprehensive curriculum review of a program that is nationally certified as a Center of Academic Excellence (CAE)
  • Increasing internal and external workplace experiences for job seekers, including CyberDive week, counselor training, career awareness events and the potential launch of an Arizona affiliate of Apprenti
  • Collecting and utilizing supply and demand data to make more informed decisions to strategically address talent shortages in cybersecurity.
