Revolutionary advancements in cyber security happen here. The Arizona Cyber Warfare Range is a non-profit, volunteer-based, live-fire cyber warfare range actively involved in community, state and national cyber security defense on a daily basis. Created to augment current cyber security resources in Arizona and develop a highly capable cybersecurity workforce, AZCWR continues to drive innovation in cyber security techniques, technologies, and training across the United States. AZCWR, stocked with laptops, servers and a variety of other equipment, is free and open to the public and will help anyone who desires to develop or enhance their cyber security skills, stay up-to-date with current cyber threats or needs assistance with current cyber security issues affecting their home or business. You may be interested in practical cyber defense training in areas such as cracking passwords, cloning keycards, breaking into computer systems, and more.

The University of Arizona’s Defense & Security Research Institute provides defense- and security-related agency expertise, and puts in place mechanisms to support and facilitate research for defense and security customers. These mechanisms include contract vehicles, facilities, and access to other transaction authorities that will help build UA's reputation as a "trusted partner" to develop and expand collaborations with the government, industry, and academia.

Embry-Riddle University, Prescott is a beautiful western campus in the mountains of Northern Arizona situated on more than 500 acres with an enrollment fast approaching 3000 students, primarily undergraduate. Embry-Riddle is constantly building on its tradition of excellence by innovating and improving to meet the needs of our students, industry, and the nation. New undergraduate academic programs have been added in Cyber Intelligence and Security, Astronomy, Business Administration, Forensics, Global Business, Simulation Science, Gaming and Animation, Software Engineering, Unmanned Aerial Systems and a Master’s Degree in Security and Intelligence Studies. The Prescott campus is home to the nation’s first and growing College of Security and Intelligence. In just the last couple of years, the campus has added 6 intercollegiate sports and men's and women’s basketball to bring our total to eleven, joining (and dominating) the CalPac conference. Thanks to our managed growth we have new residence halls, a new science building with a state of the art planetarium and specialized labs to support student projects ranging from cyberwarfare to placing a satellite in space.
