Generation Tech Support is a tech startup run by twenty five high school students and young adults overseen by business professionals and tech instructors. In this real world entrepreneurship, tech savvy students provide tech support and instruction to the public. Many people need tech help in navigating smart phones, tablets, mac/pc updates and struggle with the complexities of millions of apps. Our tech savvy students, called GenTechs, intuitively trouble shoot issues, offer suggestions and focus on the specific needs of each customer. In the process, GenTechs learn workplace skills, how to run a business from the ground up and participate in all facets of the day to day business operations. GenTechs also be provide tech service to the younger crowd in robotics, coding, and various tech camps, assist in professional development training to schools and facilitate businesses traininings.

Embry-Riddle University, Prescott is a beautiful western campus in the mountains of Northern Arizona situated on more than 500 acres with an enrollment fast approaching 3000 students, primarily undergraduate. Here, we bring together the best and brightest students from all 50 states and over 40 foreign countries to succeed in a wide variety of demanding degree programs in a student-focused and personal university environment. Our focus on hands-on, project-based, experiential learning routinely takes our students all over the world, and to internships and partnerships with a who's who of aviation, security, intelligence, business, and government, and they participate in a myriad of specialized projects and competitions. Our students go on to work in their field of study within months of graduation, a testimony to their hard work and University reputation.
Embry-Riddle is constantly building on its tradition of excellence by innovating and improving to meet the needs of our students, industry, and the nation. New undergraduate academic programs have been added in Cyber Intelligence and Security, Astronomy, Business Administration, Forensics, Global Business, Simulation Science, Gaming and Animation, Software Engineering, Unmanned Aerial Systems and a Master’s Degree in Security and Intelligence Studies. The Prescott campus is home to the nation’s first and growing College of Security and Intelligence. In just the last couple of years, the campus has added 6 intercollegiate sports and men's and women’s basketball to bring our total to eleven, joining (and dominating) the CalPac conference. Thanks to our managed growth we have new residence halls, a new science building with a state of the art planetarium and specialized labs to support student projects ranging from cyberwarfare to placing a satellite in space.
